An Opportunity for Transformation
As life science and technology companies expand in our region, the demand for skilled talent has increased. Workforce education and development are crucial for this sector's growth. SDSU is committed to training a strong, skilled workforce to meet community needs now and in the future. The creation of a new state-of-the-art life sciences building on the San Diego campus represents a key step in San Diego State University’s STEM Forward initiative.
The new life sciences building will support students across College of Science degree programs and include computer and instructional labs, special instruction space, research space, conference rooms, faculty offices, mechanical, electrical and telecom support spaces, and more.
Naming Opportunities
A naming gift for the new SDSU life sciences building will make SDSU's visions for educating and preparing a diverse and highly skilled workforce in life sciences now, and in the future, a reality. This gift will allow SDSU to move construction forward and will help leverage additional funding from other philanthropic resources and government entities.
Additional naming opportunities include: building floors, east/west wings, research space, laboratories, outdoor courtyard, and much more. To learn how you can get involved and impact students for generations to come, please contact the Executive Director, College of Sciences, Stacy Carota at [email protected] or the College of Sciences Director of Development, Alessandra Costigliola at [email protected].
