Kristin O'Neal

"I Felt Supported and Valued"

Kristin O’Neal (’07, B.S. business administration) gives back to SDSU because her experience at the university enabled her to be in a position to give. A proud alumna of the Fowler College of Business, O’Neal is a successful independent financial advisor. She attributes her success not only to her education but also to feeling supported and valued by the SDSU community as a student—and through her strong alumni network today. O’Neal is paying it forward with a generous planned gift, which she envisions will provide students with the career preparedness resources they need throughout their academic career. What a wonderful gift to give.

Leo Morales

Involved and Inspired

Looking to strengthen his ties to SDSU, Leo Morales (’09) got involved with SDSU Alumni. Reconnecting with the university after graduation was one of the most rewarding decisions he ever made. Morales discovered a passion for helping students transition from classrooms to careers. His involvement inspired his giving. His enthusiasm for SDSU prompted Wawanesa General Insurance Company, where Morales works, to invest in SDSU as well. The result is the mutual success of San Diego State University’s students and the region they are well prepared to serve.

Alan Dulgeroff

Part of Something Greater

Alan Dulgeroff (‘92, electrical engineering; ‘18, masters of engineering) credits much of his professional success to mentors who guided his education and career. They helped him gain real-world experience to solve real-world problems. That’s why his two greatest passions are education and giving back to the community. He supports SDSU students as a mentor and through donations like his gift to establish the Alan M. Dulgeroff Engineering, Mentoring and Collaboration Connection (E=MC2) in the Engineering and Interdisciplinary Sciences Complex. As he helps the university realize its research mission, Dulgeroff is also ensuring that SDSU will continue providing a high-quality education grounded in the workforce needs of the greater San Diego community.
